Anhydrous cacl2

Weifang JS anhydrous calcium chloride, an inorganic compound, is highly soluble and dissolves in water. It is a colorless, crystal-like solid at room temperature and an extremely hygroscopic salt.

It is a common salt that has many uses, including as a brine for refrigeration plants, ice control on roads, concrete, and as a desiccant. It is made from limestone and Solvay, where it reacts with ammonium chloride to create soda ash.

Calcium Chloride

Weifang JS calcium chloride is an ionic compound of calcium and chlorine. It is deliquescent, soluble in water, and produced from limestone, but large amounts are also created as a by-product of the Solvay process.

It is used as road salt, for melting ice, in desiccators to dry liquids and gases, in refrigeration brines and antifreeze, in dust proofing, as a food additive, as a concrete hardening accelerator, and in a variety of other applications. It is also an important ingredient in sports drinks, as it helps replace lost electrolytes.

It is highly hygroscopic and can attract moisture from the air, so it must be stored in tightly sealed containers. Ingestion can pose a danger, so it is best to avoid it. If you do ingest it, seek medical attention immediately and drink several glasses of water or milk. It can cause nausea, vomiting, and gastric distress. It can also be toxic to the eyes and respiratory system, so gloves and handwashing are recommended.
