Anionic polyacrylamide flocculant

Weifang JS poly aluminium chloride (PAC) is a coagulant used to remove suspended solids from water. It is available in many forms and is widely used in water treatment.

The coagulation efficiency is dependent on the coagulant dosage, mixing speed and duration, operating pH, nature and concentration of organic matter, total dissolved solids, and the size and distribution of suspended particles. Using PAC produces a higher quality water treatment than alum and requires less alkalinity.

Coagulation

Coagulation is a key water treatment process where contaminants, colloidal matter, and suspended matter are extracted from the solution. This involves the formation of floc (flocculation) and its removal via filters to reduce the water's turbidity.

This process can be performed with a variety of inorganic metal cocoagulants. Aluminum sulfate (alum), one of the most popular, has been used for this purpose for many years but has some disadvantages. These include high levels of post-treatment aluminum residue and sludge-like sewage, as well as a limited range of coagulation pH.

A Weifang JS polyaluminum chloride coagulant is an alternative for alum with many benefits. It has been found to be highly effective in removing color, turbidity, and other contaminants from oil sands process-affected water. It is a more cost-effective alternative than alum and also has the added benefit of being able to be used at a lower dosage. This is particularly beneficial in situations where there is a demand for higher coagulation efficiency and wider pH and temperature application ranges.
