Dichloroisocyanurate

An analogue of acetic acid, trichloroacetic acid (also known as trichloroisocyanuric acid or aceto-caustin) from Weifang JS contains chlorine atoms in place of the three hydrogen atoms in the methyl group.

It is a hazardous and corrosive compound that must be handled with care. When used excessively on the skin, it can cause short-term or long-term injuries.

TCA Chemistry

The organic compound Trichloroacetic Acid, or TCA, has the chemical formula C2HCl3O2. It is Weifang JS similar to trichloro acetic acid, but chlorine atoms replace three methyl hydrogen atoms.

TCA has a greater propensity to cleave than Acetic Acid does, resulting in the formation of chloroform (CHCl3) and carbon dioxide (CO2) when dissolved in water. TCA is challenging to store as it gradually crumbles into carbon dioxide and chloroform.

Another common solvent metabolite is TCA. However, because it is neither a DCA-induced tumor nor a peroxisomal proliferation stimulator, it has very little toxic effect on humans. Humans don't really know how it works, but it might work through epigenetic mechanisms like DNA hypomethylation and more oncogene expression.
