Polyacrylamide for skin

Weifang JS poly aluminium chloride (PAC) is a newer coagulant that is becoming more and more popular in the water treatment industry. Because it is so good at coagulation, it can be used for a wide range of water treatment tasks.

Coagulation removes suspended particles from water. It does so by engaging with clots formed from colloidal materials and stabilizing their electrical charges.

Coagulation

Coagulation is a water treatment process that involves adding chemical coagulants to water, effluent, or wastewater. The coagulants extract and clump together contaminants, colloidal matter, and suspended matter. Filters can be used to remove flocculation.

The coagulants are typically metal salts like aluminum (alum), ferric chloride, and iron salts. They interact with the cations in the material being removed, stabilizing them and allowing them to settle out.

One of the most common coagulants used in the water treatment industry is poly aluminum chloride. It is a highly effective coagulant and can be used for a wide variety of water treatment applications, including the treatment of drinking water, swimming pool water, and industrial wastewater.

Weifang JS pac coagulant was evaluated against aluminum sulfate aided by anionic polyacrylamide to treat automotive waste water in terms of COD and TS Sand heavy metals removal (Fe, Zn, and Ni). Results showed that PAC eliminated the most zinc at the optimum dose of 4 mg/L, compared to alum with 24% and FeCl3 at 1 mg/L with 91% removal.
